University of Techniques and Logistics of Public Security starts the 2017-2018 academic year

PSNews – The University of Techniques and Logistics of Public Security held a ceremony to start its 2017 -2018 academic year on November 13, in Bac Ninh. Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony.

Major General Nguyen Dang Tien, Rector of the University of Techniques and Logistics of Public Security emphasized that the university has made many innovations in the 2016-2017 academic year, creating positive progresses in personnel training. 

The officers, lecturers, students and soldiers of the university have strictly and effectively implemented resolutions, directives and policies of the Party, the State as well as the Central Party Committee of Public Security. In particular, the university attached importance to improving training quality by studying in-depth training programmes and compiling quality documents for students.

In this current situation, the university boldly applies a practice  training programme close to the reality so that trainees can have opportunities to improve knowledge and practical skills useful for their future careers.

Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security recognized and praised all outcomes of the University of Techniques and Logistics of Public Security in the last academic year.

He also instructed the university to continuously renovate teaching methods and training programmes in a modern manner and take the command of science and technology to make a shortcut to development.

The university should issue specific policies to attract talented people and continually improve the expertise and qualifications of its lecturers in conducting scientific research on techniques and logistics.

In addition, the university should actively carry out emulation movements and cooperate with other national and international research centers,  institutes and academies to exchange experience and knowledge of education and training as well as logistics and techniques.
