Vice Minister Bui Van Thanh works with Dak Nong Provincial Police

PSNews- Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Vice Minister of Public Security led a delegation to pay a working visit to the Dak Nong Provincial Police and check all local police work, particularly maintaining security and order, and implementing logistic and technical tasks in 2016.

The Vice Minister was accompanied by various delegates from relevant agencies under the MPS.

Mr. Nguyen Bon, Chairman of the Dak Nong People’s Committee and Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Chuong, Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police and other leaders of the provincial police agencies and units received the working delegation of the MPS and participated in the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Chuong briefed delegates on the local situation and local achievements in maintaining security and order in the first quarter of 2017 as well as in implementing logistic and technical tasks of the provincial police in 2016.

In the first quarter of 2017, the Dak Nong Provincial Police effectively performed its advisory role, recommending local Party committees and authorities at all levels to draw up plans to firmly maintain local security and order. The provincial police actively studied and analyzed the situation to promptly resettle all issues relating to national security, and prevent potential complications in the province. In the first quarter of 2017, the provincial police launched and implemented a campaign to crack down on criminal activities before and after the Lunar New Year festival, ensuring safety and security for local people.

Addressing the event, Vice Minister Bui Van Thanh acknowledged and praised the provincial police force for their achievements.

He also urged the Dak Nong Provincial Police to continuously raise its advisory role, ensuring political stability as well as security and social order in the locality while promoting readiness to respond to any cases and producing good strategic forecasts.
