Vietnam – Macau (China) to further cooperation in combating crimes

PSNews - Law enforcement agencies of Vietnam and Macau (China) should also intensify cooperation on s human resources training and exchange. 

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Public Security hosted a courtesy reception for a delegation of the Department of Justice Administration of Macau (China) on May 30.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh expressed his delight at growing cooperation between Vietnam and Macau (China) on various fields including economy, trade, investment and tourism.

Besides, the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Macau (China) also saw many achievements in combating crimes.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Thanh suggested that law enforcement agencies of the two sides should strengthen cooperation in preventing and investigating crimes, and organizing workshops on cross-border crimes.

In addition, the two sides should improve the quality and efficiency of information exchange via the two Interpol agencies so as to promptly cope with special cases.

Law enforcement agencies of Vietnam and Macau (China) should also intensify cooperation on s human resources training and exchange.

The Director of the Department of Justice Administration of Macau (China) thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh for the warm reception and highly appreciated recent positive results of the two sides.

She vowed to make further contributions to bolstering the friendly relationship between Vietnam – Macau in general and between the Public Security Ministry of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Macau (China) in particular.
