Vietnam opens "Five Continent" Botanical Park

PSNews - The "Doi Van Hoa" unique botanical park is officially open to public from this August. 

"Doi Van Hoa"  - the largest botanical park in Vietnam - is located on the highest points of Vinpearl Land Nha Trang. It consists of 5 greenhouses and 3 open-air gardens.

This unique park portraits a wonderful natural world with botanic collections corresponding to climatic zones.

The most prominent part is the Europe area. It consists of 2 sections: the Temperate Greenhouse with seasonal flowers such as tulips and begonia, and the Rose Greenhouse with nearly 10,000 lovely roses of all types.  From Europe Square, visitors would enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean.

The Africa area, on the other side, would bring visitors an exceptional experience of wilderness with its "open desert" and greenhouses. For the first time, many hundreds-year-old "super plants" such as Baobab (250-year-old tree), Chorisia, 500-year-old Olive tree are present in Vietnam.

This area also possesses a collection of over 400 species of cactus and more than 200 species of succulent plants with different shapes. There is also an African aboriginal village for visitors to experience Africans’ lifestyle in the wild.

Representatives of the Asian continent in "Doi Van Hoa" are Japanese garden and Vietnamese garden with distinctive wooden house architectures. If the Japanese garden features mediation inspired with bonsai, pine and cypress, the Vietnamese garden is decorated with popular plants such as lotus ponds and nearly 100 species of daisy.

All the greenhouses in Doi Van Hoa use PRIVA censors to control the internal climate in order to ensure the best living condition for different tree species.

"Doi Van Hoa" is not only a new must-come destination, but also a "living library" about plants and the third largest natural collection at Vinpearl Land Nha Trang.
