Vietnam receives fire fighting vehicles from KFPA

PSNews-The Fire and Rescue Police Department (C66) hold a ceremony to receive five used fire vehiclesoffered by the Korean Fire Protection Association (KFPA).

As Vietnam is accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration, it needs an increasing number of facilities and vehicles for fire prevention and fight, Major General Doan Viet Manh, Director of C66 said. In the context of a lack of fire fighting and rescue equipment in Vietnam, assistance from other partners in general and South Korea in particular is of great significance.

Recently, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Vietnam have received nearly 40 fire engines of all kinds donated by South Korean organizations and individuals. These vehicles are all in good condition, contributing to improving the Vietnamese firefighting force’s capabilities and efficiency.

Earlier, KFPA suggested assisting and donating 5 used fire fighting engines to Vietnam. C66 quickly sent a working delegation to Korea to check the quality of the donated vehicles, which remained 82% compared to new ones.

The five fire engines were staffed to the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police of Binh Duong, Ninh Binh and Hai Phong and the Fire Prevention University.
