Vietnam Women's Union honors 150 typical individuals

PSNews - President of VFF Tran Thanh Man also asked the Vietnam Women's Union to attach attention to the needy women in moutainous and remote areas, especially women of ethnic minority groups. 

Recently, the Vietnam Women's Union held a ceremony in Hanoi to honor 150 outstanding women for their excellent contributions in implementing the Directive No.5 of Politburo on studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and style as well as the movement “All people join hands to build up new rural area” in the 2016-2020 period.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of  the Vietnam Fatherland Front cum Vice Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Reward Tran Thanh Man said that, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) always highly appreciate the contribution of individuals, organizations, households as well as the Vietnam Women's Union at all level.

"With 19 million members, the Vietnam Women's Union plays an important role in gathering, uniting and mobilizing women nationwide to participate in the implementation of tasks for economic and social development along with national building and protection", he emphasized.

President of VFF Tran Thanh Man also asked the Vietnam Women's Union to attach attention to the needy women in moutainous and remote areas, especially women of ethnic minority groups.

Additionally, he hoped that the VFF will continuously well implement their tasks on popularizing and encouraging people in general and women in particular in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and style as well as the movement “All people join hands to build up new rural area” in the coming time.

At the event, President of VFF presented certificates of merit to 150 outstanding women who have overcome obstacles in life, are actively working, creative and innovative at work as well as build a successful and happy family life.
