Vinh Long and Can Tho Provincial Police celebrate CholChnamThmay new year festival

PSNews - The Directorate Board of the Vinh Long Provincial Police inquired after and wished monks, policy families, retired officers and people of the Khmer a joyful and happy New Year.

The Directorate Board of the Vinh Long Provincial Police and leaders of provincial police agencies and units visited the Khmer pagodas in Tra On, Tam Binh, Binh Minh, Vung Liem districts and congratulated local Khmer people and religious dignitaries on the occasion of their traditional New Year festival CholChnamThmay on April 13.

The Directorate Board of the Vinh Long Provincial Police inquired after and wished monks, policy families, retired officers and people of the Khmer a joyful and happy New Year.

The Directorate Board also hoped that local monks will collaborate with local authorities to promote law dissemination, cement the national unity bloc, boost production, and build a new better life for Khmer people. Representatives of the Vinh Long Provincial Police presented 13 gifts to the Khmer pagodas in the province.

On behalf of the local Khmer people, monks sincerely thanked the Vinh Long Provincial Police for warm wishes, and affirmed that Khmer people in Vinh Long will always trust the leadership of the Party and State, and seriously observe Party policies and State laws.

The monks also vowed to proactively participate in the “All People protecting national security” movement, building up a cultural life in residential area.

Earlier, Senior Colonel Bui Trong The – Deputy Director of the Can Tho Municipal Police visited and handed over gifts to Khmer people and pagodas in Can Tho.
