What makes Doan Trung Dung more suspicious?

To date, special forces have been making all efforts to hunt for the suspect of the murder case, all attention must be paid on Doan Trung Dung.

The suspect was identified thanks to results of crime scene investigations, forensic examinations and other relevant pieces of evidence.

Earlier, Quang Ninh Police for Investigation had officially issued Warrant of Arrest with Doan Trung Dung for Murder and Robbery.

 Quang Ninh Police Investigation issued wanted note for the suspect of the ‘Murder and Robbery” happened in Hop Thanh, Phuong Nam commune, Ung Bi city, Quang Ninh. The person named Doan Trung Dung, 45 years old, lived in cluster 7, zone 1, Trung Vuong commune, Uong Bi city.

The suspect was identified with characteristics as follow: rectangular face, height of about 1.8m, concave nose, etc.

Dung is known to be a bad guy in his locality. In 2011, he was accused of drug trafficking and ended up in jail. After his release from prison, live on selling firewood. Nguyen Thi Hat (61, victim of the murder) was said to be aunt of Dung’s wife.

As said by a witness in the locality, in the early morning of September 25th, one day after the murder, one person named C. saw Dung with only his underpants going from the river bank.

Dzung is said to flee and hide in the riverine mangrove forests until the dawn of September 25th.

Functional agencies have deployed various forces to hunt for the suspect in the nearby area of Uong river. Trails revealed the suspect’s appearance there.

Various important pieces of evidence have been collected and recorded during the crime scene investigation. Moreover, although Dung is said to be relative of the victim, he did not show up at the funeral without any excuse and to date, nobody in his family knew where he had been. It made him even more suspicious.

Senior Lieutenant General  Le Quy Vuong, Member of Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security led an investigation team to further direct and investigate the case.
