Whole people join hands in ensuring security and order

PSNews–Over the past time, the movement of “All people protecting national security” in Dak Rlap district, Dak Nong province has seen noticeable achievements, especially in building and expanding crime prevention and combat models.

Such security models have contributed to mobilizing the strength of the whole people in carrying out prevention of crime and timely handling of any newly-emerging complicated issues, making contribution to ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.

Colonel Nguyen Ba Ly, Deputy Head of Dak Rlap district Police, said, “The Dak Rlap district Police has advised the district Party Committee and authorities to promote the movement in both scope and scale, mobilizing the synergy of the whole political system and the entire population to maintain security and order and ensure traffic safety, seeing them as important factors to promote the movement.”

One effective model of security and order in the district is the “Security gate” employed in Hamlets 2 and 4 of Nhan Dao commune. The model was formed and operated thanks to fund raised from the communities. The model has contributed to ensuring security and order in the whole commune.

Another effective model worth mentioning is the “Security camera” in Dak Ru commune. “In order to actively fight against crimes and social evils, the authorities of Dak Ru commune spent part of the commune’s budget, along with the donation from the community, installing security cameras in nine security hot spots. The model has initially proved effective,” said Le Van Vien, the commune’s Head policeman.

The success of the security models like those in Nhan Dao and Dak Ru communes has motivated Dak Rlap district Police to apply and expand to other localities more models funded by people in the communities.
