Young police officers light up rural roads in Tien Giang province

PSNews - Young police officers of the People’s Police College 2 on January 19 and 20 helped people in Tan Dong Hoi commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province set upinstall an electric lighting system for nearly 2km of rural roads.

Young police officers of the People’s Police College 2 on January 19 and 20 helped people in Tan Dong Hoi commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province set upinstall an electric lighting system for nearly 2km of rural roads.

The activity was part of the "Light up the villages" project by the Youth Union of the People’s Police College 2. On During the daysprogram, 30 cadres and, students of the college joined hands with local people to set upin installing an electric lighting system for along nearly 2km of rural roads. 

The project, worth 30 million VND, was a gift to the locality, donated byfrom the cadres, officers and students of the People’s Police College 2. 

The lightning system is expected to help the locality to complete the new rural area’s model’s criteria,; to create better condition forfacilitating people’s to travel safely at night. It also aims at servingsupports the local police force in performing night patrols.
