Youth Charter of G.D 8 launches action plan for Month of Youth

PSNews-The Youth Charter of the Police General Department of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance (G.D 8) held a ceremony to launch an action plan for the Month of Youth.

At the ceremony, the Youth Charter also launched an emulation campaign to celebrate youth congresses at various levels towards the 11th National Youth Congress, and the Blood Donation Campaign in 2017.

Various activities will be carried out during the Youth Month 2017, Captain Nguyen Thach Chinh, Secretary of the Youth Charter of G.D 8 said. These include promoting dissemination and education activities on the traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union; popularizing and grasping the Resolution of the 4th Meeting of the Party Central Committee and other directives and movements; taking up all projects and tasks assigned to the youth; organizing activities to join hands in building new rural areas, and carrying out gratitude and social activities.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Bang, Director of G.D 8 asked all officers and soldiers, especially youths, to be active and creative, promote the pioneering and voluntary spirit, and serve as an important force at work, contributing to better performing their tasks of managing, re-educating and rehabilitating prisoners in response to the new situation.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, members of the youth charter of the G.D 8 collaborated with the 198 Hospital, the Steering Committee for Blood Donation of the public security force to organize a blood donating campaign 2017.

The set target is to donate some 3,000 blood units, which will be used for treatment of public security officers and civilians at various healthcare centers.
