Youth Club of the General Department of Police established

PSNews – The Youth Union Executive Committee of the General Department of Police held a ceremony to launch the Youth Clubs on November 24th.

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Police Youth Union’s Traditional Day, the Youth Union Executive Committee of the General Department of Police held a ceremony to put Youth Clubs in operation and the forum “Basic working skills and expertise in conducting investigation into cases, and experiences in investigating typical cases.” 

At the ceremony, representatives of the Youth Union Executive Committee of the General Department of Police briefed delegates on the establishment, initial results as well as action program for the coming time of the clubs. In fact, the Club "Culture and Sports", the Club "Foreign Languages" and the Club "Expertise and Law" were established and put in operation since July, 2016.

Since their birth, the three clubs have operated well and achieved certain practical outcomes. The foundation of such clubs has encouraged the Youth Union’s members of the General Department of Police to heighten their responsibilities for providing good advice for their commanders to deploy units’ tasks effectively.

At the forum, Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh, Director of the General Department of Police shared experiences in controlling crimes, especially experiences in controlling drug crimes, economic crimes, cyber-crimes, corruptions, smuggling crimes, with 350 typical members of the Youth Union chapter of the General Department of Police and other 100 students of the People’s Police Academy.

This forum helped young officers and soldiers gain practical experiences and skills, and improve their knowledge of investigation, meeting requirements in the current situation.
