Youth Union Chapter of DCPS promotes its pioneering role

PSNews - The Youth Union Chapter of the Department of Communication of Public Security (DCPS) on March 23 held a ceremony in Hanoi to mark the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU). At the event, former youth union officials have shared their experiences and encouraged youth union members of DCPS.

Along with the change the organizational apparatus of DCPS, its Youth Union Chapter was also restructed, consolidating from three other youth union chapters of the Public Security Newspaper, the Publishing House of Public Security and the Public Security Radio – Television – Cinema Center

Despite established since November of 2018, the Youth Union Chapter of DCPS has effectively implemented many activities to meet political requirements as well as professional mission.

The Youth Union Chapter of DCPS in collaboration with the Youth Union Chapter of People's Army Newspaper, the People's Army Radio – Television Center, the No.2 People's Police College held seminars regarding the pioneeing role of youth in combating against hostile forces or the enhancing of political bravery and ideology in public security forces.

At the same time, the Youth Union Chapter of DCPS in collaboration with other youth union chapters of northern provincial police departments organized social activities such as offering free check-up and medicine to needy people, visiting and presenting gifts to policy beneficiary families, with a total value of hundreds of VND million.

Speaking at the event, Major General Mai Van Ha, Director of DCPS and Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor in Chief of Public Security Newspaper highly valued and praised all achievements and meaningful social activities of the Youth Union Chapter of DCPS over the past.

Major General Mai Van Ha and Major General Pham Van Mien instructed the Youth Union Chapter of DCPS to make a detailed working plans in the coming time, contributing to fulfilling its professional mission as well as bringing the youth movement forward.

The same day, the Youth Union Chapter of DCPS also held a sport festival to celebrate the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
