Youth Union Chapter of Public Security Forces honored with Fatherland Protection Order

The Youth Union Chapter under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony on March 23 to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU, March 26, 1931 – 2021) and 65th founding anniversary of the Youth Union Chapter of the Public Security Forces, and receive the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order.

The event saw the presence of General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, other leaders and former leaders of the MPS.

Lieutenant Colonel Dong Duc Vu, Secretary of the MPS Youth Union Chapter, briefed delegates and participants in the ceremony on the establishment and development of the Youth Union organization of the Public Security Forces as well as its contributions and achievements over the past 65 years.

At the event, various former and current cadres of the Youth Union organization  of the Public Security Forces shared their working experience, memories related to youth activities as well as highlighted their pride as members of the Youth Union organization of the Public Security Forces.

As authorized by the State President, Minister To Lam handed the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order to the Youth Union Chapter of the Public Security Forces, in recognition of the great achievements obtained by generations of public security youths over the past time.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, appreciated the role and contributions of the Youth Union Chapter of the Public Security Forces to the general achievements of the MPS as well as to the country over the past years.
