Youths of CAND Newspaper and People’s Security College support people in Muong Khuong

PSNews – The Youth Union chapters of the People’s Security College 1 and Public Security (CAND) Newspaper cooperated with the Youth Union of Muong Khuong district (Lao Cai) to organized a charitable program on January 27 and 28 to present many gifts to local students.

The charitable delegation of the CAND Newspaper and partners had to transport the gifts by motorbikes to De Chu Thang school (Muong Khuong town) in unfavorable weather conditions.

The charitable delegation presented 85 gifts (each worth VND 400,000) to needy locals, 10 scholarships to 10 poor students with outstanding academic performance.

The People’s Security College 1 actively participates in charitable and social programs alongside academic activities, said Captain Nguyen Tien Phuong, Vice Head of the Party Work Division of the People’s Security College 1.

Ms. Tran Thu Hang, Headmaster of Muong Khuong Secondary School and Ms. Vang Thi Minh, teacher of De Chu Thang school, expressed their delight and thanked the charitable delegation for their meaningful gifts, which would encourage local students to overcome their difficulties to achieve better results at school.

On the evening of the same day, members of the delegation had an artistic exchange with soldiers of the Muong Khuong Border Station.
