This was part of a youth-funded project launched by Miss World Vietnam 2019 Luong Thuy Linh called “Dap duong, xay uoc mo” (Building roads, building dreams). Lung Liu is home to 33 poor Mong ethnic minority households with nearly 200 people.

The schoolhouse in the village has over 40 students.

There is only one narrow path leading to Lung Liu, known as one of the poorest villages of Hoa An district. The village is often islanded by heavy rains.
