Youths of Quang Tri Provincial Police support disadvantaged people

PSNews - Youths of the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department visited various rural areas to give support to local people in the first days of the Lunar Year 2019.

The first destination of the charitable team of the provincial police’s youths in 2019 was Vinh O commune (Vinh Linh District), a remote commune located 20 kilometers from the district’s center.

In addition to presenting gifts to poor people in the area, the charitable team also joined hands in building a playground for children worth 30 million VND, funded by the youths of the Provincial Traffic Police.

The gifts to poor local people, worth 10 million VND in total, were donated by the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police Department and the District Police Station of Vinh Linh.

 Youths of the Quang Tri Police visit and support needy people on national anniversaries as well as when they are affected by natural disasters.

The charitable team has presented thousands of gifts to poor, lonely and sick elderly people in recent years.

Vinh O received various supports, such as infrastructure investment, seeds and breeders, agricultural and forestry supplies as well as training, and scientific advancement and technology transfer, said Ho Van Sau, Chairman of the Vinh Ho Communal People’s Committee.
