105 typical models of public security schools praised

PSNews – The Public Security Academy held a conference on May 11 afternoon to honor excellent students of public security schools in the 2015-2017 period. 

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the conference.

According to the report of the General Department of Politics, in the past two academic years, 27,952 students have been praised (1,007 by the ministry and 1,084 by the ministry’s general departments).

Additionally, in scientific research movements, the Ministry of Education and Training praised 6 excellent students of public security schools.  

They are all typical models of public security schools, who have firm political stance, good virtues, healthy lifestyles, positive learning attitudes, as well as excellent results in studying and physical training.

At the conference, excellent models of public security schools presented their speeches, sharing personal experiences in doing scientific research, participating in meaningful movements and activities launched by the Ministry of Public Security and the General Department of Politics.

Leaders of the General Department of Politics handed-over certificates of merit to 34 classes and 71 individuals for their outstanding outcomes in emulation movements in 2015-2017 period.

Addressing the conference, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Public Security Ministry, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh praised and highly appreciated all efforts and achievements of lecturers and students of public security schools in the 2015-2017 period.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that protecting national security and social order in the current situation faces many challenges, requiring an elite force with good and specialized knowledge of the country as well as international relations.

He also asked public security schools to continuously improve training quality and focus on information technology and foreign languages. In addition, leaders of public security schools should strongly renovate training programs and teaching methods in accordance with real police activities of combating crimes.

In particular, public security schools should organize outdoor activities, art performances and exchange programs with foreign units, helping students to be more active and creative.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh hoped that excellent models and public security schools will promote the past achievements to attain more achievements in the future, contributing to building a strong and clear public security force.
