PSNews - The 19-8 Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in January held a conference to review its tasks performance in 2022 and roll out the work plan for 2023.

The 19-8 Hospital awarded Certificates of Merit for excellent sections and officers. 

Director of the 19-8 Hospital Senior Colonel Hoang Thanh Tuyen  chaired the conference. 

In 2022, the hospital closely followed the direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on development of the public security health sector while implementing its tasks.

The hospital has accurately diagnosed and successfully treated various complex and serious diseases, emergency cases of heart, kidney, joint, digestive, neurological, infectious diseases, such as myocardial infarction, acute pulmonary edema, respiratory failure, multi-organ failure and cerebral stroke.

The hospital has also invested in gastrointestinal endoscopy equipment, severe patient monitoring system, multi-function ventilator, and improved medical techniques. 

The hospital received and treated 240,993 patients in 2022, including 1,320 senior public security officers. In particular, the hospital also successfully applied many advanced techniques in examination and treatment.

The hospital also maintained 24/7 emergency team  serving important national conferences as well as MPS conferences and international conferences held in Vietnam.

In 2022, the hospital was honored with Excellent Unit in Emulation Movement Flag by the MPS while subunits and officers of the hospital  received awards from authorities at all levels. 

At the conference, the 19-8 Hospital awarded Certificates of Merit for excellent sections and officers and launched the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2023.
