Present at the ceremony were Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work People's Artist Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, who is a Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Camp; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Art Associations Musician Do Hong Quan Assoc. Prof.; Rector of Military College of Culture and Arts, Distinguished Teacher, Musician Senior Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thuy; Former Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Chairman of the Hanoi Music Associatio People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh.
Leaders of the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department participating in the event included Deputy Director Senior Colonel Le Hong Phong, as well as representatives from police units in Phu Yen and Quang Ngai provinces and 23 musicians, choreographers inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces.
This year’s song and dance composition camp is a practical cultural and political activity in celebration of 75 years since Uncle Ho gave six teachings to the People's Public Security Forces about "Quality of a revolutionary policeman". (March 11, 1948).
Compositions will reflect the effort of the Public Security Forces’ implementation of Resolution No. 05 of the Public Security Central Party Committee on "Improving the quality of cultural and artistic work to meet the force building requirements in the current context".
The camp is organized into two phases: Phase 1 is held for authors in the South at Lam Dong, Phu Yen, and Quang Ngai provinces. Phase 2 of the camp takes place for authors in the North at Hoa Binh, Phu Tho and Tuyen Quang provinces.
