A sapper squad of the Binh Duong Military Command was sent to the scene to handle the bomb.
The bomb was identified as a MK82 bomb. It weighs up to 232kg and contains 87kg of TNT explosive.
MK82 was a bomb with large destruction used by the US Air Force during the war.
On the afternoon of the same day, the sappers safely moved the bomb from the ground to the army’s bomb disposal area.
