PSNews – A marathon run held by the Tra Vinh police force has gathered 350 athletes.

The Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department on August 19 held a marathon to celebrate the 14th “All people protecting national security” Day, the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution, and the 74th Traditional Day of the Public Security Forces.

The 350 participating athletes included 49 female police officers and soldiers, as well as local students and people.

The organizer awarded Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department to 36 male and female athletes.

The marathon run consisted of 2 categories:  four-kilometer marathon run for men and two-kilometer marathon run for women.

At the closing ceremony, the organizer awarded Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department to 36 male and female athletes with the best running records.
