On behalf of the Archdiocese of Hanoi, Archbishop Vu Van Thien wished the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and all officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces good health and big success in performing the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People in the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.
Archbishop Vu Van Thien also expressed deep gratitude to the Ministry of Public Security for assisting the Vietnamese Catholic Church in ensuring security and order for major religious events of the Church, saying that thanks to the Public Security Forces, Vietnamese Catholic dignitaries and parishioners across the country in general and in the Hanoi Archdiocese in particular welcomed a joyful and peaceful 2023 Christmas season.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked Archbishop Vu Van Thien, dignitaries and parishioners of the Archdiocese of Hanoi for their Tet visit and regards to the entire People's Public Security Forces.
The Deputy Minister also sent best Tet wishes to dignitaries and parishioners of the Hanoi Archdiocese.
Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang hoped that dignitaries of the Archdiocese of Hanoi will further encourage Catholics to unite with other people of the country in implementing resolutions of the Party, the State’s laws and the Government’s policies while following the moto "To live a good life, to beautify the religion", and actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, making contributions to the cause of building great national unity and socio-economic development of the country.
