Bac Ninh police issue passport online

PSNews – Since June, the Bac Ninh Provincial Immigration Office has started receiving online applications for new-form ordinary passports via the Ministry of Public Security’s portal.

The number of eligible citizens to register and use online public services in Bac Ninh has increased.

In order to increase online applications and bring practical benefits to citizens, the Immigration Office of Bac Ninh Province published the procedures for online application for passports.

In particular, the office in collaboration with the local Youth Union organizations to mobilize local students in coordination with immigration police officers to guide and support citizens in setting up public service accounts and submitting their online applications.

The office also advised the Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department to request the Department of Information and Communications to encourage local mobile subscribers to register for an official account using their 12-digit ID card instead of the old 9-digit ID card.

Since then, the number of eligible citizens to register and use online public services has increased.

Since October 3, 567 out of 1021 passports were applied online. At the same time, the number of citizens who knows and uses online public services has increase.
