PSNews – Over 300 needy children and orphans in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22 gathered at the Book Street to take part in the Book Festival 2019 and received meaningful presents.

The participating needy children and orphans come from the orphanage “Living Seed” in District No.8, the orphans’ school of Ward No.25, Binh Thanh District, the orphanage “Solidarity Group” in Binh Duong, and the SOS orphans village in Go Vap District.

Within the framework of the festival, the organizers also presented meaningful gifts to 300 participating needy children and orphans.

The Book Festival 2019 has turned the Book Street of Ho Chi Minh City into a meaningful playground and created an ideal reading place for not only local citizens but also visitors.

It also aims at promoting a reading culture and conveying the message of an equal access to knowledge for people from all walks of life.
