Over the past few days, many COVID hotbeds have been detected, spreading infection among ethnic minority communities. Hundreds of infection cases have been reported.
Dak Lak is home to 640,000 ethnic people, residing in over 600 villages.
Doctor Trinh Quang Tri, Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of Dak Lak, said the mass testing for Corona virus of ethnic people in remote villages is part of the province’s efforts to promptly identify and isolate infection cases and curb the pandemic.
