The conference saw the presence of Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

In 2020, the DFR has made innovations in all aspects of its work. Particularly, the DFR gave various initiatives to the MPS in the year of Vietnam’s 2020 ASEAN Chairmanship.

The unit also supported the MPS and the Government to successfully organize the 14th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime in the form of video-conference.

With its outstanding achievements in 2020, the DFR was awarded the MPS’ Emulation Flag.

Regarding the DFR’s working plan in 2021, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi suggested that in the coming time, the DFRshould continue advising the Party, the State and the Government to ratify important international treaties and agreements, creating a comprehensive legal corridor for international cooperation on crime control and increasing capabilities for the Public Security Forces.
