Department of Political Work launches special emulation drive of 2018

PSNews – The Department of Political Work of the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting on March 7 afternoon to review performance of its women union chapter in 2017 and launch the special emulation drive of 2018. 

In 2017, under the close attention and direction the department’s leadership, the Women Union Chapter reached encouraging achievements in the implementation of activities and movements.  

The Women Union Chapter promoted the implementation of many emulation movements such as “Women of the Public Security forces studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals, and style” and “Building a happy family.”

Additionally, the Women Union Chapter of the Department of Political Work in collaboration with other organization within the force accelerated charitable activities, contributing to building a supportive and sympathetic community.

Major General Dao Gia Bao, Director of the Political Work Department said that the year of 2018 will sê many important anniversaries of the country in general and the Public Security Forces in particular.

Therefore, the Women Union Chapter should attach great importance to the work of political ideology education while mobilizing all members to strictly implement  the Directives, Resolutions, new policies as well as promoting the implementation of the movement " Building image of the brave and humane police officer in the people’s heart".

With its main position as a think-tank, the Department of Political Work will exert all-out effort to successfully roll out their tasks, especially the organization of activities on the occasion of  the 70th anniversary of the movement of “Public Security Force follow six teachings of Uncle Ho” (March 11, 1948) and 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation campaign (June 11, 1948).
