Deputy Minister of Public Security of Viet Nam Senior Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc hosted a courtesy reception for Assistant Minister of Public Security of China Lu Wuqin, on August 19, 2026, in Ha Noi.
The visiting Assistant Minister of Public Security was heading the Chinese Ministry of Public Security Art Troupe’s visit to Viet Nam to attend an art exchange program between the two Ministries celebrating the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces of Viet Nam (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2026).
At the reception, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc warmly welcomed Assistant Minister Lu Wuqin and the Art Troupe of the Ministry of Public Security of China to Viet Nam. He highly appreciated the significance of the art exchange activity, saying that which contributes to enhancing mutual understanding, affection, and interaction between officers and soldiers of the two countries' Public Security Forces.
Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc expressed his confidence that, on the basis of the traditional friendship between the two nations, cooperative relations between the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Public Security of China will continue to be consolidated and developed. He expressed his desire that both sides maintain and strengthen cultural and artistic exchange activities, contributing to nurturing the friendship between the two forces.
Assistant Minister Lu Wuqin expressed his sincere thanks to the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam for its solemn and thoughtful reception. He expressed his delight at visiting Viet Nam to attend the art exchange program and highly valued the significance of this activity. He affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security of China attaches great importance to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam, including cultural and artistic activities, thereby contributing to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two sides.
Following the reception, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc met with, inquired after, and encouraged members of the Art Troupe of the Ministry of Public Security of China.
