Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong receives Senior Vice President for the US-ASEAN Business Council

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security on December 19 received Mr. Michael Michalak, Senior Vice President for the US-ASEAN Business Council.

At the reception, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong expressed his pleasure at the continued development of  the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the US in politics, culture, society, security and defense.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong highly appreciated the effective contributions of the US-ASEAN Business Council and US businesses to promoting the economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries, in part bringing the relationship between Vietnam and the US to new heights.

Regarding the bilateral security cooperation, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has good relations with the US law enforcement agencies. Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong hoped that, in the coming time, US businesses and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security would continue to cooperate in the fields of network security and digital economic security.

Speaking at the reception, Senior Vice President for the US-ASEAN Business Council Michael Michalak affirmed that the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam the US as well as the close coordination in security between the 2 sides has achieved many good results.

Mr. Michael Michalak hoped that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in general and between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the US-ASEAN Business Council and US businesses in particular will continue to develop in depth and bring more practical results in the future.
