Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc visits wounded soldiers nursing centers

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers at the Duy Tien Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center and Kim Bang Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center (Ha Nam province) on the morning of July 18.

Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of the Organization and Personnel Department under the MPS Major General Bui Van Quyen and Director of the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hung also joined the delegation.

Showing deep gratitude to the wounded soldiers for their contributions and sacrifices to the country and sympathy for their difficulties and pains in their life, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc said, "Despite being injured, comrades still make a special effort to live on, following Uncle Ho's teachings: "Wounded soldiers have injuries but are not disabled, always serving as bright examples of courage and sacrifice for everyone to learn and follow.”

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also appreciated the staff of the Duy Tien Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center and Kim Bang Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center for their efforts to overcome numerous difficulties, wholeheartedly take care of the wounded and sick soldiers, and consider them their family, contributing to the successful implementation of the Party and State's policy of "returning favor and gratitude."

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented gifts to Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center and Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center the Duy Tien Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center and Kim Bang Wounded Soldiers Nursing Center as well as wounded and sick war veterans under treatment there.

* Also on the morning of July 18, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the delegation burnt incense and paid tribute to martyr Nguyen Van Thuc at the residence of his family in residential group No. 1, Hoa Mac ward, Duy Tien town, Ha Nam. The MPS delegation inquired after the health of members of the martyr’s family and offered gifts to them.

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to the family of Captain Vu Xuan Quynh, a sick police officer residing in Hoang Tay commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam.
