Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits Hospital 199

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security recently visited and congratulated Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security on the occasion of the Vietnam Doctors’ Day (February 27).

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Quach Huu Trung, Director of the Hospital briefed the Deputy Minister on the working results of the hospital in 2020 as well as its key tasks in 2021, and the results of the prevention and combat of COVID-19.

Accordingly, under the Ministry of Public Security, over the past years, the hospital’s staff have improved their professional knowledge, skills and medical ethics with the aims of improving their healthcare services for officers and soldiers of the public security forces and people of Danang.

Meanwhile, the prevention and fight against COVID-19 has been considered an extremely important political task of the Hospital. Hospital 199 has prepared facilities, medicines, medical equipment, protective clothing and experts to quarantine and treat COVID-19 patients.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and praised the outstanding achievements made by generations of nurses and doctors of the hospital over the past years. He also spoke highly of the efforts of Hospital 199 in preventing and combating COVID-19.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son offered flowers and extended best wishes to doctors, nurses and workers of the hospital. 

He then asked the hospital to encourage its medical workers to bring into full play their professional competence and abilities to better protect the health of public security officers and the people.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked the leadership of the hospital to focus on developing human resources, especially educating and training high-quality medical doctors and nurses, while further investing in facilities and equipment for medical examination and treatment.
