Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits new headquarters of CAND Newspaper

PSNews –A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 1 visited and inspected the new headquarters of the Public Security (CAND) Newspaper at No.2 Dinh Le street, Trang Tien ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son presented a flower basket of congratulations to the leaders and staff of the CAND Newspaper on its “new home”, affirming that the relocation of the newspaper is an important and remarkable event in the newspaper’s development history.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that the relocation of the CAND Newspaper to No.2 Dinh Le street – the heart of the capital city – is an important opportunity for its officers, reporters and workers to improve the quality of its information service, and also demonstrates the high position of the CAND Newspaper as the mouthpiece of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the MPS.

He hoped that the CAND Newspaper will quickly settle down and continue contribute to the task accomplishment of the entire People's Public Security Forces in the cause of national security protection by vividly reflecting activities of public security agencies and units as well as highlighting the beautiful image of the public security officer.

After inspecting all working rooms of the CAND Newspaper, the Deputy Minister praised the responsibility and efforts of the unit in upgrading the building into a beautiful and convenient office building in accordance with the direction of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS.

At the meeting between the delegation and the staff of the newspaper, Senior Colonel Pham Khai, Editor-in-Chief of the CAND Newspaper extended deep thanks to leaders of the MPS in general, and Minister To Lam and Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son in particular, for their special care for the newspaper by providing a new spacious office building for the newspaper.

According to Senior Colonel Pham Khai, the newspaper’s headquarters provides a better working condition and environment for the staff to work. On behalf of the leadership and staff of the newspaper, the Editor-in-Chief promised that the newspaper will overcome all difficulties and successfully fulfill all missions assigned by the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the MPS leaders.

On behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the Department for Information and Communications (DIC) under the MPS, Lieutenant General Mai Van Ha, Director of the DIC extended great thanks to the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS for their sound directions to the public security information and communications sector as well as for their good investment in facilities and equipment for units under the DIC.
