Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh visits martyr cemeteries in Tay Ninh

In celebration of the 45th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on April 28 led a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to visit martyrs’ cemeteries in Tay Ninh province.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and the delegation visited and offered incense and flowery wreaths at Hill No.82 National Cemetery and the Cemetery of the Security Division of the former South Central Department. 

The delegation also paid floral tribute at the Homeland Security Monument, the statues of Uncle Ho, the late Chairman of the Ministerial Council Pham Hung as well as the Armed Security Statue at the relic site of the Security Division of the South Central Department in Tan Lap Commune, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province.

The Deputy Minister and delegates expressed their deep gratitude to public security officers and soldiers who laid down their lives for the causes of national liberation in different periods as well as for the cause of national construction and defense.

* On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also visited and handed over gifts to various policy beneficiary households in Tay Ninh Province. 

Particularly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hai as well as the family of late Major General Ngo Quang Nghia, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former Director of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Department.

In addition, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and delegates also visited Senior Colonel Bui QuangVinh, former Deputy Commander of the Security Command Division under the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Department, and Colonel Luong Thi Tam, former Deputy Commander of the Security Command Division under the TayNinh Provincial Police Department, who are wounded veterans losing 61% of health.
