Deputy Minister Pham The Tung hands over “Great Unity” house to people with meritorious services

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the authority of Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province and other benefactors organized a ceremony to handover a great unity house to local people with meritorious services to the revolution, present financial support to repair “Great Unity” houses in the district and present computers and medical equipment to the education and health sectors of Tien Lu district.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Pham The Tung attended the event.

Accordingly, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung and a representative of the Phu My Hung Asia Holdings handed over a “Great Unity” house, costing 190 million VND, to the family of Mr. Ung Van Thanh, a sick veteran in the district.

Later, at the Tien Lu District People’s Committee, delegates presented 15 billion VND to repair the downgraded “Great Unity” houses as well as build new ones for people with meritorious services in the district.

In addition, the Ministry of Public Security presented 100 computers to the local education and training sector, while the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation and the St. Paul Hospital presented medical equipment to the Tien Lu District Medical Center, as well as supported them in training and technology transfer.

Through the program, delegates wished that the disadvantaged families would soon overcome their difficulties and strive for a better life.

They also hoped that the local education and health sectors would make full use of the presented equipment and facilities, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and healthcare for local people.

The program is of great significance as it demonstrated the concern of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, local authorities and other benefactors for the policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services and the poor, helping them overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
