Deputy Minister Pham The Tung pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung offered flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh at a temple dedicated to Him in the Pac Bo Special National Relic Site, on the afternoon of September 3, in Cao Bang province.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation expressed their boundless respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Party and the people, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero and a world cultural icon.

President Ho Chi Minh was the founder and trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam, whose thought, morality and style have always served as the ideological foundation and a guiding star for the Vietnamese revolution to achieve from victory to victory.

The delegates pledged the heroic spirit  of President Ho Chi Minh that they will be absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the people, uphold the heroic revolutionary tradition, bring into full play glorious victories, and actively contribute to building the People’s Public Security Forces as a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern force capable of safeguarding national security, ensuring social order and safety and protecting the peaceful and happy life of the people in the new situation.

Writing in the Golden Book of Remembrance, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung affirmed that the Public Security Forces always remember and strive to study, follow and practice Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings and their Five Honorary Pledges, deserving to be the Party’s “sharp sword” and “steel shield” and the reliable support of the people.

The Deputy Minister underscored that the Public Security Forces will continue to uphold the glorious tradition of the forces “Be ready to make sacrifices for the nation, render dedication to the people”, contributing to building a more dignified, prosperous Vietnam able to be well-matched with great powers in the world.

Afterwards, the delegation also lit incense at the Kim Dong Historical Site in Truong Ha commune to commemorate heroic martyr Kim Dong, paying deep respect to the first leader of the National Salvation Children’s Team who had heroically laid down his life at his very early age as, writing glorious pages of the Vietnamese revolution’s history.
