Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To inspects 2025 Public Security University-level Assessment Exam

PSNews - Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public SecuritySenior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Head of the Steering Committee for Project 04 inspected the organization of the 2025 Public Security Ministry-held Assessment Exam at the People's Security Academy (PSA).

Speaking at the meeting between the inspection delegation and the Examination Board, Director of the Training Department under the Ministry of Public Security Lieutenant General Tran Minh Le stated that nearly 23,000 candidates had registered for the 2025 Public Security Ministry-held Assessment Exam, an increase of almost 5,000 candidates compared to 2024.

For this year's exam, eight examination boards, including academics and officials from public security academies and schools nationwide had been established.

The Project 04 refers to Project to Renovate Admission of Full-Time Students to Public Security Collages and Universities.

35 exam locations (25 in the North and 10 in the South) provided a total of over 1,000 examination rooms.

After inspecting the exam location and listening to a report on the PSA's organization of the exam, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highly praised the Ministry of Public Security's affiliated units, public security units, public security academies and schools for their good efforts and close coordination in organizing a safe, serious and regulation-compliant exam.

The Deputy Minister hoped that, with a significantly larger number of candidates and the more professional exam organization of public security colleges, universities and academies, the quality of enrollment will further be improved this year, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for the People's Public Security Forces in the future.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that all officers responsible for the exam should clearly explain  the procedures and regulations to candidates while following the instructions of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security's leadership on the organization of the exam.

He also noted that examination boards and schools hosting the exam should proactively have plans to handle various possible situations and potential incidents. Examination boards should resolve issues arising flexibly within their authority and responsibility.
