Deputy Minister urges to complete framework for the handling of administrative violations

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security on August 25 held a videoconference between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to review the 4-year implementation of the Law on the Handling of Administrative Violations in the Public Security Forces.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the conference.

A representative of the Legal and Administrative and Justice Reform Department presented the conference’s delegates a draft report on the 4-year implementation of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations in the Public Security Force.

Addressing the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son stressed that the 4-year implementation report and opinions of delegates presented at the conference assessed objectively and comprehensively the 4-year implementation of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations in the Public Security Forces, and pointed out inadequacies of the law and obstacles and limitations in implementing the law.

The Deputy Minister directed the Legal and Administrative and Justice Reform Department of the Ministry of Public Security – the agency responsible for drafting the draft report, to collect the ideas and opinions raised by delegates at the conference to finalize the official report of the Ministry of Public Security, then submit it to the Ministry of Justice.

He also urged public security agencies and units  to propose inadequacies of the law as well as measures to overcome obstacles and limitations while implementing the law.
