Devotion Music Awards 2019 see a number of young candidates

PSNews - Nearly 100 journalists in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on April 9 joined the voting ceremony for the 14th Devotion (Cong hien) Music Awards 2019.

This annual music awards aims to honor music artists with outstanding creativity and effort for national music development.

This year's edition has nine categories: Producer of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Music Series of the Year, Show of the Year, Musician of the Year, and Singer of the Year.

Candidates for the 2019 awards include well-known faces such as singer Tung Duong, singer Thanh Lam, musician Vo Thien Thanh, as well as many young artists who are famous for their hit songs, such as Bich Phuong (Bua Yeu), JustaTee (Thang Dien), Tien Tien (Em Khong The), Phung Khanh Linh (Hom nay toi buon), and Lon Xon Band.

The voting results will be announced at the award ceremony on April 16 at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater.

The whole award ceremony will be directed by Hoang Nhat Nam while the music will be directed by musician Ho Hoai Anh. Under the theme "Core of Emotion", the ceremony is expected to be a night of honoring artists who have devoted themselves to national music, and a place where all generations of music lovers can meet and exchange.

The show will feature performances of famous Vietnamese singers such as Thanh Lam, Lan Anh, Ho Trung Dung, Duc Tuan, Dong Nhi, Vu Cat Tuong and so on and to be aired live on VTV9 channel.
