On November 8th in Ha Tinh, emulation grouping 5 in the 6 provinces of Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue held a conference to summarize the emulation movement "For Fatherland Security" in 2016.
Present at the conference were Major General Nguyen Quang Chu - Deputy General Director of the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces; local government representatives, leaders of the Political Work Department and police force of 6 provinces.
In 2016, emulation grouping 5 has closely followed the Ministry of Public Security’s directions. Based on actual developments of the local situation and pursuing the slogan "initiative, discipline, responsibility, efficiency" the police of the 6 provinces innovated the contents and forms of the emulation movements so as to make big progress in thoughts, sense of responsibility and activities of officers and soldiers, encouraging them to try their best to accomplish their assigned tasks, contributing significantly to local socio-economic development.
Nearly 9,000 outstanding organizations and individuals have been awarded in 2016. Of them, 35 organizations and individuals received Victory Orders, Fatherland Protection Ordersof various classes.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Quang Chu - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces praised the achievements in the Emulation Movement "For Fatherland security" of 6 provinces' police force in 2016, contributing to maintaining security and order in the provinces.
Deputy General Director required units to renovate the approach to launch emulation movements, to focus on solving the limitations, to discover and replicate exemplary models, to build a clean and strong force, and to meet the task requirements in the new situation.
Units should focus on deploying activities and measures to ensure security and order, at the same time well perform work of the emulation and rewarding to motivate officers and soldiers to fulfill their assigned tasks.
At the conference, participants of emulation grouping 5 selected most outstanding units to receive the Emulation Flags of the Government and of Ministry of Public Security.
The results showed the Quang Binh Police will serve as the leader of grouping 5 while the Quang Tri Police as the deputy leader of the emulation movement 'For Fatherland Security' in 2017.
