Emulation Grouping 9 reviews movement "All people protecting national security"

PSNews - Emulation Grouping 9 under the Ministry of Public Security on May held a conference in Vinh Long to review the implementation of the movement "All people protecting national security" in 2017. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event. 

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Khao, Director of the Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement briefed participants on outcomes of the implementation of the movement in 2016, and 8 central tasks in 2017.

Participants at the conference discussed advantages and disadvantages during the implementation of the movement as well as measures to promote the movement "All people protecting national security" in a more widespread and sustainable manner.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the good achievements obtained by police forces of Emulation Grouping 9. According to him, the movement "All people protecting national security" has made an important contribution to ensuring political security, maintaining social order and safety and  boosting socio-economic development in the region.

Deputy Minister also asked local police units and agencies to continue to provide good advice to local authorities, to seriously implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, the Government and the Ministry of Public Security on security and order and the movement "All people protecting national security".

He requested the local police force to be more active in popularizing the movement among people, in order to prevent crimes more effectively. The local police force must strengthen the coordination with military units, local Fatherland Front organizations and other agencies, organizations in implementing the movement "All people protecting national security".

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son stressed: "Citizens play a great role in building and protecting our homeland. To mobilize the people to participate in the movement "All people protecting national security" is a strategic issue. Facts show that security and order in the locality where the movement was effectively carried out were well maintained. Therefore, the police force should spread the movement to ensure a peaceful life of people."
