Vietnam National University Hanoi took the lead among the five Vietnamese universities, claiming 139th place, followed by the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (142nd).

The Hanoi University of Science and Technology was listed in the 291-300 group, while Can Tho University and Hue University were placed in the 301-350 and 351-400 groups, respectively.

This year’s QS Asia University Rankings were compiled through an assessment of the universities on 10 different indicators, including the proportion of academic staff qualified to PhD level and the proportion of inbound and outbound exchange students at the university.
