Forces join fire fighting and rescuing practice in Buon Ma Thuot

PSNews – The Dak Lak Provincial Fire Police Force on April 21st held a fire fighting drill at Buon Ma Thuot Airport.

The assumed scenario said, at 14.45pm, when many passengers were gathering at the trading area of goods and souvenirs on the 2nd floor, a short circuit happened to an air conditioner.

As there were a large amount of flammable goods and materials on the 2nd floor, the short circuit burst into flames and quickly spread to other sections. If the fire were not controlled soon, it could have reached the ground floor, causing great danger to people.

The practice aimed to enhance the effectiveness of coordination in fire fighting and rescue among forces; and to repeat the important tasks of fire prevention and fighting at Buon Ma Thuot Airport, contributing to ensure political security and social order and safety in the area.
