According to the hospital’s representatives, among them, 29 patients with spinal deformities, clubfoot, dislocated hip, short limb and glass bones will be operated on at the Hanoi Saint Paul Hospital in the coming days.

The surgeries will be performed by Prof. Jérôme Sales de Gauzy, Head of Orthopedic Surgery of Purpan Children Hospital (France).

Serious patients will be operated on at the Saint Paul Hospital. Most surgical costs will be covered by the health insurance companies, but some additional treatment costs beyond the medical coverage will be paid by the Children Action Foundation.

Earlier, in March 2018, the first drive of the humanitarian program successfully conducted surgeries on dozens of children with different illnesses. To date, the Children Action Foundation has helped more than 10,000 Vietnamese children escape from malformations.
