Politburo member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), attended the 2022 “All people for national security” festival on the morning of August 11 in Hung My commune, Cai Nuoc district, Ca Mau.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tien Hai; alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Quoc Viet; and other local leaders also joined the MPS delegation.

Speaking at the festival, Minister To Lam emphasized that the “All people for national security” festival aims to promote and educate the patriotic tradition, national pride, as well as raise the awareness and responsibility of officials, Party members and people from all walks of life for the cause of protecting national security, ensuring public order and safety, and building a clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Public Security Forces. 

This is also an opportunity to praise, promote and replicate typical models as well as groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the “All People's Protecting National Security” Movement, so as to further bring the movement into life and make it as a nationwide emulation movement with the participation of all strata of the population.

Minister To Lam presents certificates of merit and gifts from the Ministry of Public Security to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of “All people protecting national security”.

Minister To Lam affirmed that Party committees, authorities and people in localities across the country continuously renovate both content and form of the movement to make it more effective and efficient while attracting a large number of people to the movement.

Such exemplary models in Hung My commune include the drive to mobilize 100% of households to commit to participating in building secure and safe hamlets, and building a "typical commune in the movement of “The whole people protecting national security", which has also made an important contribution to turning Hung My into a commune of "New Rural Culture Standards".

Minister To Lam suggested, all local Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations promote and replicate good models practices in the “All people protecting national security” movement while identifying, overcoming shortcomings and limitations in the building of the movement in Ca Mau province. 

On this occasion, many individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the movement of “All people protecting national security” were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

* On the same day, Minister To Lam and the delegation visited the people and officials of Thi Tuong A hamlet, Hung My commune.

Minister To Lam offered gifts to people, officials and the Thi Tuong A Hamlet's Learning Promotion Fund as well as gave the Hung My Commune Police Post a set of computers.
