At 2.30 pm, June 5th, a traffic police team, including Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Ninh Duong and Second Lieutenant Nguyen Ngoc Tu, when working at the intersections of Giai Phong- Truong Chinh, saw an old woman who looked anxious, walking nearby.

Under the scorching hot sun, the two policemen immediately took her to their working post to rest. She said that she was lost and did not remember her home address. After some time, she collected herself and told the policemen that her name was Ta Thi Thu (aged 85), living with her daughter in Truong Chinh street, Dong Da district, Hanoi.

She carried a lot of important documents, including 3 bank savings books and some other valuable goods in her bag.

The two policemen reported to their team commander, who then sent officers to the address declared by the elderly to verify the information. At her home, her relatives were so worried about her and were looking for her.
