Hai Phong police honor outstanding examples in following Uncle Ho’s teachings

PSNews – The Hai Phong Municipal Police Department in May held a conference to review the 4-year implementation of the Politburo's Directive No.5 on enhancing the Movement “Studying and following thought, morals, and style of President Ho Chi Minh.”

The event also aimed at reviewing the 2-year implementation of the Ministry of Public Security's Directive No.4; and 3-year implementation of the movement “Building public security officers’ manners of bravery, humanity and devotedness to the people.”

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Dao Gia Bao, Director of the Department of Party and Political Work under the Ministry of Public Security.

At the event, many delegates have shared their ideas and experience in implementing the movements and directive. The conference also highlighted the achievements gained by the Party organization and forces of the Hai Phong police in the implementation of the movement “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s thought morals, style” and his six teachings to the Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the event, Major General Vu Thanh Chuong, Director of the Hai Phong Municipal Police Department affirmed that the implementation of the directive and movements have made a positive change in the local police forces’ awareness and actions.  

In particular, all police officers and soldiers of the Hai Phong police have held firm political stance and absolute loyalty to the Party, the State and the people, while upholding the spirit of serving the people, and successfully fulfilling the tasks entrusted by the Party and the people. 

On this occasion, the Minister of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit to one organization and one individual while the Director of the Hai Phong Municipal Police Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 45 organizations and 229 individuals with outstanding achievements in the past 4 years.
