Hanoi Archbishop congratulates Ministry of Public Security on Tet Holiday

PSNews - On the occasion of the Tet 2017 - Year of Rooster, on January 16th, a delegation of the Hanoi Archdiocese led by Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon, Archbishop of the Hanoi Archdiocese has visited and delivered Tet greetings to the Ministry of Public Security. Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security received the delegation.

On behalf of the cleric delegation and all Christians of the Hanoi Archdiocese, Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon - Archbishop of the Hanoi Archdiocese presented flowers to the Public Security Forces. Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon reported major activities of the archdiocese to Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam in 2016, and congratulated the Public Security Forces on the great achievements in maintaining national security and social order during the year.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam congratulated Cardinal, Archbishop Nguyen Van Nhon and all Christians of the Hanoi Archdiocese on the lunar New Year - Tet holiday.

Briefing on major activities of the Public Security Force in 2016, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam stressed, all sectors of the Public Security Forces performed their tasks synchronously and efficiently, ensuring order and security for the Party Congresses at all levels and the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, and contributing to national socio-economic development.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam hoped dignitaries of the Hanoi Archdiocese to continue encouraging Christians to unite and strictly implement Party policies, State laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to successfully building and protecting the country and the construction of national unity as well as socio-economic development.
