Hanoi police catches in red big drug dealer

PSNews- Nam Tu Liem traffic policemen have arrested a suspect who was carrying approximately 10kg heroin and 17,000 tablets of synthetic drugs.

Earlier, the Nam Tu Liem District Police had had reconnaissance information about a drug trafficking ring that often transports drugs from the mountainous province of Son La to My Dinh coach station, Hanoi and then to Thai Nguyen province for sale. The police had known that a resident of Moc Chau town, Son La, named The, was a key element of the criminal ring.

The reconnaissance information also released that The might carry drugs from the northwestern area to My Dinh coach station. Commanders of the district police directed the criminal police office to draw a plan to catch the drug dealer in red.

At 8.30 am, November 14th, Nam Tu Liem district police scouts detected suspect Ngan Van The catching a bus to Hanoi about 2km away from Moc Chau town. They believed that the suspect would carry a large amount of drugs to Hanoi for sale. They secretly followed the suspect.

At about 2 pm same day, the coach arrived in Hanoi and stopped at a different place rather than My Dinh station and continued running toward Thai Nguyen.

The Nam Tu Liem District Police immediately collaborated with Traffic Police Group 6 under the Hanoi Traffic Police Department to stop the coach for a regular traffic safety check when it was running on the Pham Van Dong - Tran Quoc Hoan route (in Cau Giay district, Hanoi).

Spotting the police, The carrying the carton box with drugs inside tried to jump off the coach and run away. The scouts immediately chased and arrested the suspect, seized approximate 10kg heroin and 17,851 tablets of synthetic drugs.

The suspect was then identified as Ngan Van The or Nguyen Duc The, aged 41, resident of group 12, Moc Chau town, Moc Chau commune, Son La province, who had had two sentences relating illegal drug trafficking.

The investigation agency of the Nam Tu Liem District Police has officially prosecuted and remanded Ngan Van The for further investigation.
