Ho Chi Minh City holds civil defense and defensive area exercise

PSNews - Under the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department in coordination with other forces successfully organized a civil defense and defensive area rehearsal focusing on handling security scenarios and countering terror attacks on October 30 to handle security.

According to the organizers, the 2022 civil defense and defensive area exercise played a very important role in raising the leadership of the city’s Steering Committee for Counter-Terrorism.

The drill with the participation of the Mobile Police Command under the Ministry of Public Security, Air Division 370 under the Ministry of National Defense as well as local armed forces also focused on improving coordination in handling complex security situations in the city.

While handling the assumed scenarios, the forces participating in the exercise coordinated closely in implementing combat plans, putting out fire, and restoring security and order while ensuring safety of humans and vehicles.
